  Our Undiscovered Self the Scandalous Lie, Part 3, the Conclusion I watched a podcast interview recently where the guests were four women. The hosts asked their guests this question. How do you get your needs for attention met, in person or on the internet? Each one after the other spoke slower with a sinking level of trepidation and shame, “On the internet.” By appearance, all were appealing women by dress, makeup, and features. I felt their feeling of exposure answering the question. One of the alluring features of the internet is that of getting human needs met in ways that satisfy the mind for moments like some drugs satisfy feelings in the body for moments. I want to be clear that the internet is not the problem. It represents the medium of the three things necessary to convict people in court of a crime; means, motive, and opportunity.
