The Best Things in Life, They’re Free Love and Healing are Free but we must do the work. ~Magi Aata Same Cooke recorded a song live at the Copacabana in New York that had been written in 1927 by the team of Buddy DeSylva, Lew Brown, and Ray Henderson for the musical, Good News. The song was entitled the Best Things in Life, They’re Free . These are the lyrics, “Ah, the moon belongs to everyone, the best things in life, they’re free. Stars belong to everyone, they cling there for you and for me. Flowers in spring, the robins that sing, the sunbeams that shine, they’re yours and their mine, ya’all.   Our Undiscovered Self the Scandalous Lie, Part 3, the Conclusion I watched a podcast interview recently where the guests were four women. The hosts asked their guests this question. How do you get your needs for attention met, in person or on the internet? Each one after the other spoke slower with a sinking level of trepidation and shame, “On the internet.” By appearance, all were appealing women by dress, makeup, and features. I felt their feeling of exposure answering the question. One of the alluring features of the internet is that of getting human needs met in ways that satisfy the mind for moments like some drugs satisfy feelings in the body for moments. I want to be clear that the internet is not the problem. It represents the medium of the three things necessary to convict people in court of a crime; means, motive, and opportunity.
